Small RNA Lab

Our laboratory is hosted in Huazhong Agricultural University in Wuhan, a big city in central China. Our research aims to understand the basic mechanisms of plant biology and translate basic science into applicable technologies, that will contribute to sustainable agriculture. Two lines research activities are currently going on in our lab. One focus on understanding the role of small RNAs in regulation of plant disease resistance and the other on the genetic basis of Chilli pepper agricultural traits, such as fruit development and plant architecture.
