GENE EXPRESSION PROFILING IN DIFFERENT TISSUE AND DIFFERENT DEVELOPMENTAL STAGE. Hot pepper seeds were surface sterilized and then sown in 200-hole seedling tray filled with vermiculite. The seedlings were initially grown in growth room and were transplanted to 35 cm pots containing 10 kg moist soil in a glass house since one-month-old. Different pepper organs at different developmental stage were sampled and gene expression in each sample was profiled by high-through-put sequencing using Illumina Highseq4000 platform.
